Description
Position : Sales Administrator – Nairobi
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to manage and support sales operations for our online store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, managing customer inquiries, coordinating with logistics, and ensuring seamless communication between the sales and fulfillment teams. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support & Order Management:
- Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry into the sales system.
- Monitor inventory levels and update product availability on the website.
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues with courier services.
2. Customer Service & Communication:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone regarding product availability, orders, and shipping.
- Handle complaints, returns, and refunds according to company policies.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and professional responses.
3. Sales Coordination & Reporting:
- Assist in preparing sales reports and performance analytics.
- Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accuracy.
- Support the sales team in achieving targets by providing necessary administrative assistance.
4. Website & Product Management:
- Assist in updating product descriptions, pricing, and promotions on the online store.
- Work closely with marketing teams to ensure promotional campaigns are effectively executed.
- Monitor website transactions to detect and report any fraudulent activities.
5. Payment & Invoicing Management:
- Verify payment transactions and liaise with the finance team for order processing.
- Generate invoices and receipts for customers.
- Address payment disputes or issues with the relevant departments.
